Affiliations

Lawrence is part of the Grupo Tatewarí or Grandfather Fire  medicine group. These are mara'akate born outside the traditional Wirárika homelands but recognized by elders there.

In addition to being a mara'akame, Lawrence is trained and initiated as a Firekeeper under the auspices of this organization hosting fires and other programs in eight countries.

Lawrence is on the staff of this retreat center located on sacred land in Margaretville, New York.
